Julie has held strategic leadership roles in the public and private sector for over 25 years.

Most recently, she was Chief Executive at Woking Borough Council and successfully lead the cultural and governance transformation work required at the authority.

She held executive roles at Surrey County Council including Deputy Chief Executive and interim Chief Executive. She was responsible for all support functions including the Council’s finance, property, human resources, procurement, digital and IT and lead significant improvement work as Director of Children Schools and Families.

In a regional digital and transformation role for the NHS, she worked with leaders across acute and community health services and local authorities.

She has held various board positions, in her capacity as an executive leader in several sectors including education support services, housing and property development and digital design services and solutions.

Her system leadership roles within the public sector give her a real understanding of the current challenges and opportunities faced by the Trust.
