The Trust boards of The Prospect Trust (TPT) and Weydon Multi Academy Trust (WMAT) are pleased to announce that they are engaged in positive and constructive talks about integrating our two organisations into a single MAT in 2026.
Both Trusts share an excellent reputation for running high-performing schools and colleges that serve their local communities across west Surrey and north-east Hampshire.
Integrating these two trusts into one will bring successful primary, secondary and specialist schools plus a leading sixth form college into a single organisation. As such it will facilitate delivery of high quality, joined-up education for learners across all key stages of their education journey and create even greater opportunities for the children, young people, staff and families in our communities.
As a single integrated trust, we can also promote and achieve educational excellence and equity for all learners, provide more development and opportunities for our staff, achieve greater resilience for our academies and harness increased efficiencies and economies of scale.
At this stage, any proposed integration would be subject to due diligence, consultation with our stakeholders, including staff and governing bodies, and would require appropriate DfE and Diocesan approval.
Together, we are excited about the potential to shape a strong and sustainable future for our schools, college and communities.
