Mark is an experienced leader and advisor, highly skilled in chairmanship and providing critical support to school and Trust leadership teams. He brings a deep understanding of strategic issues affecting schools and the wider Trust and was previously Chair of Governors at the WMAT school, The Ridgeway Community School.

Since June 2016, Mark has been Director of Longridge Consulting Ltd, offering consultancy services to the oil industry on the international development of service stations. Prior to this, he was Global Head of Retail Site Quality at British Petroleum, overseeing operational standards and performance across a global network.
