The Joining Process

We aim to make joining WMAT a collaborative and transparent process:

Phase 1 – Initial discussions

  • Informal meetings with WMAT leadership and governors

  • School visits and stakeholder engagement

Phase 2 – Due diligence

  • Comprehensive review of educational, financial, legal, and premises information
  • Identification of risks and solutions
  • Agreement on timelines and conversion date

Phase 3 – Legal and operational steps

  • Completion of required documentation (Funding Agreement, CTA, leases)
  • TUPE transfer of staff
  • Integration of financial and reporting systems

After Joining
