At St Peter’s, Peter progressed from NQT to Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form before becoming Deputy Headteacher at Woolmer Hill in 2016.

He has been a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for over ten years and previously served as Safeguarding Lead for the WMAT before taking on the role of Director of Safeguarding for the Trust. In this role, he spends every Friday supporting the exceptional DSLs across the Trust.

Peter is a trained History teacher and has taught History, Classical Civilisation, and Sociology at A level. He continues to teach GCSE Sociology at Woolmer Hill, which remains one of his favourite parts of the week.
