Liz has worked in senior leadership for 20 years, including as a Headteacher at a successful 11–16 secondary school. She has continued to teach throughout her career and has always valued her time in the classroom. This has allowed her to reflect on and improve her own practice, while inspiring students through her subject.

Liz now feels privileged to work alongside colleagues in the i2i Partnership and across WMAT. She is deeply committed to providing trainees with a professional and supportive training experience. Her role includes leading sessions at one of the five centres, visiting trainees and colleagues in partner schools, speaking at information events, and helping to develop the organisation.

She strongly believes in the positive difference teachers can make in young people’s lives and is grateful to be in a position to support this work across our communities.
