Julie has held a number of senior executive roles in local government and the NHS, bringing extensive system leadership experience and a strong track record of organisational improvement and transformation.

Most recently, Julie was Chief Executive at Woking Borough Council, where she led significant cultural and governance transformation across the authority. Prior to this, she held executive roles at Surrey County Council, including Deputy Chief Executive and interim Chief Executive, with responsibility for corporate services such as finance, property, human resources, procurement, and digital/IT. As Director of Children, Schools and Families, she delivered substantial service improvement and strengthened outcomes for children and young people.

In a regional digital and transformation role within the NHS, Julie worked collaboratively with leaders across acute and community health services and local authorities to drive innovation and service improvement. She has also held a range of board positions spanning education support services, housing and property development, and digital design services.

Julie’s breadth of experience provides her with a deep understanding of the complex challenges and opportunities facing organisations today, and she brings this insight to her role supporting the Trust’s strategic direction and governance.
